We are seeking a talented and motivated individual with an interest in real estate development to join our team as Digital Marketing and Events assistant to work alongside our Director of Operations. The ideal candidate will have experience with Wix and Canva and will be able to perform tasks on these platforms unassisted. The candidate will be responsible for updating and editing our website, creating event flyers, and marketing our conference via social media, linkedin, eventbrite, etc.

In addition, the marketing assistant will assist the director of operations in planning and executing our annual conference. This role is temporary part time (10-15 hours a week) and will end on June 7th 2025 with an immediate start date. The individual will be required to attend our conference IN PERSON on June 6th 2025.

Duties

Develop and implement comprehensive digital marketing campaigns across multiple platforms, including email, social media, and search engines.
Manage email marketing initiatives, including the creation of engaging content and segmentation strategies to optimize open and click-through rates.
Utilize SEO best practices to enhance website visibility and improve organic search rankings.
Oversee content management systems to ensure timely updates and accurate information across all digital platforms.
Write compelling copy for various marketing materials, including blogs, newsletters, and promotional content.
Collaborate with design teams using Canva to create visually appealing graphics that align with campaign goals.
Maintain and update the company website using Wix, ensuring all content is current and relevant.

Skills

Proficiency in email marketing strategies and tools.
Proficient in Canva for Graphic design and marketing creation
Proficient in Wix in orfer to manage, edit and design NYREC website
Ability to communicate clearly and offer creative ideas
Knowledge of SEO techniques to drive organic traffic.
Experience with content management systems for effective website management.
Excellent copywriting skills with the ability to create engaging content tailored to target audiences.
Familiarity with Social media marketing for management and updates.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour
