The Marketing Data Analyst will leverage data to generate insights and support strategic decision-making, process optimization, and trend forecasting. This role requires a high level of analytical proficiency, managing projects from data collection and analysis to visualization and reporting. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, the ability to work autonomously, and the capability to communicate complex data clearly and concisely to stakeholders across the organization.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement analytics strategies to support marketing decision-making.
Analyze data trends to provide recommendations on business strategies and operational efficiencies.
Collaborate with the data team to identify gaps and define requirements.
Collaborate with and act as a liaison between marketing business partners and the data team to standardize and automate reporting.
Create and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
Conduct market research to identify trends and competitive analysis.
Provide actionable insights to optimize marketing campaigns and improve ROI.
Support A/B testing efforts and analyze results to drive actionable insights.
Encourage innovation within the team to explore new data sources and analytical techniques.
Qualifications:
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field
Experience
2+ years of robust analytics experience, with a focus on Marketing business intelligence
Proven experience as a Marketing Data Analyst or similar role
Experience with A/B testing, incrementality or other advanced marketing measurement preferred
Experience with web analytics tools including Google Analytics (GA4), Google Tag Manager, Google Data Studio, Heap, or similar tools
Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Google Analytics, Tableau)
Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau and/or Power BI.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge of digital marketing and SEO
