Objective:
The Community Relations Director will assist the Executive Director with marketing and admissions, ensuring effective communication with the community and supporting the facility’s marketing efforts. This role also plays a key part in managing resident transitions and coordinating various administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing & Community Engagement:
Promote the facility throughout the community and maintain a strong presence, ensuring marketing efforts are consistent, innovative, and informative.
Develop and implement a marketing plan alongside the Executive Director.
Create, maintain, and manage marketing materials and budgets.
Coordinate outreach initiatives and ensure the facility remains at the forefront for timely admissions.
Assist in community engagement and maintain positive relationships with residents, their families, and the broader community.
Admissions & Resident Coordination:
Provide tours of the facility to potential residents and families, highlighting the community’s unique features.
Manage inquiries, the waitlist, and the admissions process, ensuring smooth transitions for residents from start to finish.
Coordinate with various departments to ensure readiness for new residents following departures or anticipated vacancies.
Administrative Support:
Assist the Executive Director with daily administrative tasks, including written correspondence and reporting.
Handle receptionist duties when needed, offering exceptional customer service to residents, vendors, and visitors.
Monitor building conditions, including life safety, and collaborate with the Executive Director and Maintenance Director to resolve issues promptly.
Team Collaboration:
Train and guide additional staff in conducting tours and answering inquiries in the absence of the Marketing Director.
Foster a positive, team-oriented environment.
Qualifications:
Language Skills:
Ability to read, interpret, and write reports and correspondence. Comfortable speaking to groups, including residents, employees, and organizations.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to perform basic mathematical functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
Reasoning Ability:
Must apply common sense and handle problems involving multiple variables. Ability to react calmly but efficiently in emergency situations.
Physical Demands:
Regularly required to sit, talk, and hear. Frequently use hands and arms for tasks. Occasionally required to lift or move up to 20 pounds. Ability to drive frequently.
Special Requirements:
Must be a team player, available for extended hours, weekends, and holidays as needed. Negative TB test and criminal background check required, along with compliance with all facility policies.
Essential Skills:
