Primary Duties
1. Assists the Atmos Pipeline Texas (APT) Marketing organization in an effort to attract new customers and long-term gas supply. Interfaces with internal stakeholders to facilitate the new gas customer process.
2. Analyzes volume histories, makes projections, and studies market conditions to maximize probability of services.
3. Provides support for customers and attends industry events. Maintains clear communication with all contacts to ensure excellent customer service is provided to all parties.
4. Assists in researching and analyzing system capacities for customer reliability. Provides input to System Planning Group to help with modeling of the system for new delivery points and capacities with various APT interconnects (new and existing). Assess and analyze customer’s needs on the APT system.
5. Assists the APT Marketing organization in providing an interface between APT Marketing, other pipeline marketing groups, Gas Control, Transportation Administration, Technical Services, and Operations to help ensure consistent work practices and sharing of knowledge to optimize efforts in pipeline transportation and new facilities on the APT system.
6. Assists in negotiating terms and specifications of FCA agreements.
7. Understands and utilizes company, industry, and Public RRC mapping, spatial analytic software, satellite and aerial imagery photos, and terrain to study APT’s pipeline system and other pipeline systems. Stays informed and educated about new and current production plays to develop a plan for connecting new gas supplies to future gas supply needs.
8. Supports APT Marketing with inter- and intra-departed departmental procedures and processes so that APT provides consistent, efficient, reliable data and communication to APT internal and external customers.
9. Other duties as required.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Educational/Experience Level
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering or related field; or equivalent.
Communication Skills
Requires ability to effectively communicate with internal and/or external customers in order to obtain and/or provide explanations and/or modifications on technical or other complex concepts to individuals with little or no background in the area under discussion. Strong written skills are essential.
Numeric Skills
Requires the ability to review and prepare materials for customer presentations to include complex financial and or accounting methods.
Computer Skills
Requires advanced knowledge of various software applications to create documents, reports and/or graphics.
Work Conditions
Works in an office environment. Requires some travel.
Requires occasionally performing activities involving but not limited to, bending, stooping, grasping, reaching, twisting, turning and/or lifting.
