Sponsorship sales are a key revenue driver for our business, and we are seeking an experienced Sr. Manager of Marketing Partnerships to develop and execute sales strategies that drive sponsorship growth and create value-driven brand collaborations.
POSITION SUMMARY
As the Sr. Manager of Marketing Partnerships, you will be the driver in shaping the sales and revenue strategy of Loud And Live’s portfolio of local legacy lifestyle events, concerts and live entertainment venues in South Florida by developing and executing sponsorship strategies that connect businesses with their target audiences in unique and impactful ways. This role requires a strategic, revenue-focused leader who understands how to identify brand prospects and cultivate business relationships, position compelling event sponsorship opportunities, and manage a core support team and a structured sales process that maximizes conversion. This is a dual role with direct sales expectations as well as overall leadership, strategy, and team management responsibilities.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in developing and executing event sponsorship sales strategies, management experience, working cross-functionally with our event teams to develop sellable marketing assets, and implementing efficient prospecting and sales pipeline management processes. You will collaborate closely with event production teams to create sponsorship packages that align with brand objectives while ensuring seamless execution. Additionally, you will own the sponsorship sales reporting process, providing senior leadership with valuable insights on deal flow, sales performance, and revenue forecasting.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Sponsorship Sales Strategy & Execution:
Develop a targeted sponsorship sales strategy for each of Loud And Live’s signature local events, concerts and live entertainment venues, ensuring alignment with event revenue and sponsorship targets and goals.
Create and execute a go-to-market strategy that identifies high-value prospects across various industries (i.e. banking, auto/dealerships, insurance, spirits, mobile, beverage, etc.).
Establish prospecting tools, outreach methodologies, and conversion metrics to maximize sponsorship deal flow.
Prospecting & Business Development:
Build and leverage existing relationships with key local businesses to prospect marketing partners.
Research local businesses in South Florida and national brands with regional marketing objectives, identifying those seeking unique event-based marketing opportunities.
Attend industry, media and charity events in the greater Miami area as a means of prospecting and staying current on media trends.
Build and maintain a robust sponsorship pipeline, ensuring an ongoing stream of new leads and long-term partnerships.
Conduct outreach via email, phone, and in-person meetings, effectively communicating the value of event sponsorship opportunities.
Manage and direct an annual departmental business development budget for the purpose of driving sales & building relationships
Personally develop and manage an individual sales pipeline and close new business deals.
Sponsorship Asset Development & Packaging:
Bring creative thinking to develop sponsorship packages and strategies for selling into diverse prospect categories.
Work closely with the event production and marketing teams to develop sellable sponsorship assets that align with brand marketing objectives.
Design and refine sponsorship decks, sales collateral, and proposals that effectively communicate the ROI of sponsorship investments.
Innovate custom sponsorship activations that integrate brand messaging into event experiences in a meaningful and authentic way.
Sales Pipeline & Reporting:
Utilize HubSpot CRM to track sales activities, manage contacts, and measure conversion rates throughout the sponsorship sales funnel.
Establish reporting protocols to provide senior leadership with detailed insights on sales performance, revenue projections, and partnership renewals.
Ensure consistent and accurate documentation of all sponsorship conversations, agreements, and deal progress.
Relationship Management & Partnership Fulfillment:
Serve as the primary point of contact for sponsors, ensuring seamless execution and satisfaction throughout the partnership lifecycle.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure brand deliverables are met and activations are executed flawlessly
Responsible for developing and delivering post-event reporting and recaps in a timely manner to all partner sponsors
Develop and nurture long-term sponsorship relationships, driving year-over-year growth in partnership revenue, identifying multi-year sponsorship agreement opportunities
Other
Opportunistically find ways to up-sell sponsorship & brand activation to participating sponsor brands at Loud And Live events.
When prospecting for event sponsors, identify and cultivate opportunities to cross-sell Loud And Live’s marketing agency services
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business administration, or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of 3 years of management experience leading sales team
Minimum 7 years in sales/business development role for a sports/entertainment/media company; able to demonstrate consistent history of exceeding sales goals.
Relationships and proven track record and of selling local market advertising solutions in South Florida.
Experience developing and selling fully integrated sponsorship packages using a variety of assets including (i.e., entitlement and naming rights, in-venue visibility, digital media, broadcast media, social media assets, etc.).
A deep passion for sales and driving sponsorship revenue
Experience developing engaging and impactful sales plans and presentations, promotional campaigns, proposals and associated contract negotiations.
Strong internal drive and work ethic; willing to go above and beyond to deliver for the organization.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills as well as strong presentation and storytelling abilities.
Ability to network and leverage contacts effectively.
Superior organizational skills, project management skills, and strategic planning abilities.
Strong knowledge of common business applications (Web browsers, Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, etc.).
HubSpot CRM experience with a deep understanding of sales automation, reporting, and workflow management.
Deep understanding of the South Florida live events and local sponsorship landscape, with established relationships in the region being a plus.

Flexibility and willingness to work unconventional hours (nights and weekends) when necessary.

Able to complete multiple duties with accuracy while shifting from one to another with frequent interruptions and competing deadlines.
