SciFi recording artist James Mandell is releasing a double-album of uniquely entertaining songs about life in the distant future. The project, called SciFi onthe HiFi is a sophisticated, upbeat and often comedic double-album of cool songs about our insane scifi future.
The central artist is a mature career professional with one stand-out credit, rich for exploitation. The music is pop-rock alt, part comedy part retro and keeps evolving style-wise from rap to dance to country. This doesn’t fit into a neatly organized routine. It’s quirky and sophisticated, with deep tracks and themes that range from interplanetary relationships to AI mischief.
The current PR the goal is simply to become known and appreciated for the work and originality it offers. Marketing will come a little later with tracks and merch. The target audience loves The Big Bang Theory, extraterrestrial conspiracy podcasts, sci-fi fan clubs and any movie title with the word “Star” in it.
The website has just debuted, rolling out one tune/blog/podcast after another and looking to establish a substantial fanbase via social media and paid promotions. To do that, we need an affordable pro with established experience and expertise, who has clever ideas about getting songs heard and artists recognized using creative and non-conventional methods.
