ASEAN Economic Forumis looking for a Programs Manager to join our Program Team in Jakarta. The Program team is responsible for building and running outcome based programs related to economic policy, digital and financial economy, innovation, ASEAN integration, eduction and gender inclusion etc.
The ideal candidate will develop and implement thoughtful plans, craft and build partnerships to develop these programs. You will drive thought leadership and build programs to create engagements between industry, academia, government, policy makers and other stakeholders. These programs should create opportunities and partnerships across the ASEAN leading to economic growth and development in the region. We are looking for a candidate who can come up with strategic, creative ways to address challenging issues, has great interpersonal and collaboration skills to manage multiple fast-moving projects simultaneously. This is an extraordinary opportunity to join our growing program team and work on dynamic programs in an exciting, fast-paced environment. This position is full time and based in our office in Jakarta.
Programs Manager Responsibilities:
Work with Program teams to define and build programs and initiatives to enable Dialogues and Programs
Lead programs: develop and execute programs, research projects, manage partnerships, case study and collateral material development, general project planning and identifying new program opportunities.
Ideate, create and produce events, program elements and collateral materials across.
Lead communications, educational and marketing material development.
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Public Policy, Communications, Marketing, English, or related field
2+ years of work experience in the areas of public policy or any international development.
Experience deploying projects across multiple countries in the Asia is a plus.
Experience drafting internal and external communication material
Experience with project management, attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills
Experience prioritizing high-priority projects simultaneously
Experience working with all levels of seniority, both internally and externally
Experience working with governments, corporates and small and medium enterprises in the region
Good spoken and written English and business level proficiency in an ASEAN regional language
