The MSD of Mt. Vernon is seeking a qualified and detail-oriented individual to serve as a Marketing and Communications Coordinator. This person should be passionate about contributing to the success of our schools.
Performance Responsibilities:
Develop a communications plan for district initiatives.
Oversee branding of the school district and schools, as well as the creation of associated production materials.
Provides leadership for marketing the schools and educational programs of the district.
Manages, directs and produces community and staff publications.
Assists with the ongoing content development and curation of the district website.
Establishes building representatives as partners in branding and marketing the schools and district.
Produces videos for district website and other uses.
Oversees and produces content for all district social media communications.
Coordinate and organize photographing for district marketing materials.
Keep abreast of current and future information and communications technologies.
Performs other tasks and assumes other responsibilities as assigned by the Superintendent.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree with training in information, communications and marketing
Effective Date: To be determined
NOTE: This position will work 225 days/year and salary will be commensurate with experience.
