We’re looking for a new PR & Marketing to join the LUSH MALAYSIA team. PR actively will be responsible for increasing Lush’s Brand presence in Malaysia, according to global standards.

PR & Marketing Job Purpose:

• Responsible in fielding media questions and pitching stories to the media, preparing press release and organizing in-store event.

• Responsible for developing, implementing and managing marketing campaigns that promote a company and its products. A major role in enhancing brand awareness within the social media well as driving footfall to the store and acquiring leads/customers

PR & Marketing Key Responsibilities:

• Build genuine and strong relationships with media, campaign partners- Work with other parties for tie-ups and co-organize events / campaigns, suppliers and global LUSH PR teams.

• Create and deliver effective PR strategies across country,combining brand vision and business objectives to achieve commercial goals.

• Ensure monthly collection of customer database from store and Compile and provide updates/ new launches/ news/ media coverage/ events for Lush website/ newsletter (moving forward)

• Organize in-store events for press and KOL (new collection).

• Work closely with principal (UK) on day to day or ad-hoc basis.

• Monitor all magazines and newspapers for Company articles.

• Research and share press release to compile for PR Report

• Working on marketing initiatives to increase conversion rate and drive footfall into the store.

• Prepare reports- Report and measure ROI on all PR activities and outcomes

• Post-mortem of events.

• Build and protect LUSH brand reputation to cement market position.

• Access and engage media in brand storytelling and convert media into brand advocates.

• Create and execute events and experiences to share brand stories with media. Respond to media requests; pitching proactively and reactively to media.

• Prepare PR budgets and forecast products for PR needs.

• Organise media to attend local suppliers, and charity pot partners for a true brand experience.

• Manage and lead the charity pot campaigns.

• Actively seek and apply for a large amount of awards throughout the year that align with the business goals.

• Amplify human rights, animal welfare and environmental protection campaigns through effective media outreach.

PR & Marketing Job Duties:

 Daily – Social Media – Content Development

• Curating, planning and deciding the products and type of content

(curated & repost content)

• Prepare and fine-tune copy for all pre-planned and curated content.

• Search, keeping updated, filter and optimize relevant content from principal brands, Other countries and User generated content) to be reposted.

• Create social buzz regarding new product or special collection launches.

 Daily – Social Media – General Monitoring

• Monitoring number of likes and comments of previous postings to understand Consumer preference and updating in monthly social media tracking report.

• Monitor the ever-changing types of content preferred by followers and customers to identify which products of contents garner the most engagement to aid future planning.

• Replying and handling customer’s enquiries through comments or personal message.

• Monitor principal social media strategy.
