Moxie is currently hiring Senior Account Executives for its NYC and LA offices to support senior team leaders in the development and execution of PR strategies across several clients. Successful candidates will have 3+ years of public relations experience, with heavy media relations in both B2B and consumer. Some B2B experience is required. The ideal candidate will strive for excellence with determination, while demonstrating curiosity, kindness, and integrity.
Moxie has offices in New York City (Flatiron District) and Los Angeles (Culver City), where team members work in a hybrid environment.
Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain and leverage key journalist relationships (active, proven relationships required)
Identify pitch angles and story opportunities
Draft pitches, press releases, plans and other materials
Contribute to media strategy, planning and messaging efforts
Work closely with account leads to provide several clients with strategic support and guidance
Mentor, guide and train junior team members
Work both independently and in a dynamic, high energy, team-oriented atmosphere
Qualifications:
3+ years of public relations experience, with strong reporter/outlet relationships
B2B experience (clients will be a mix of consumer and B2B)
Excitement to pitch, across clients, on a daily basis
Strong written and verbal communication skills; attention to detail
Ability to multitask, stay organized and deliver media results
Proactivity and enthusiasm
