About the Job

Rosedale Federal is currently seeking a Marketing Director to join our team. This position is an integral part of our Senior Leadership Team and will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the continued growth and success of the organization. The Marketing Director leads a Marketing team and is responsible for developing comprehensive and integrated marketing and product strategies for the organization as both a strategic leader and tactical contributor. This position develops recommendations to improve customer acquisition and retention, leads potential corporate innovations, enhances understanding of opportunities within existing customer base, provides strategic guidance and leadership in the consideration and implementation of new products, channels, and services as well as revisions to current offerings, and serves as fiduciary for all corporate marketing assets, creating and managing all associated budgets.

This position is onsite and located in Perry Hall.

In this role you will:

Participate as a member of the Senior Leadership Team and have the opportunity to provide significant input regarding key operational decisions and strategic planning for the organization. Make presentations to the Board on Marketing strategies, initiatives, and results as it relates to the Business Plan.
Create and lead the Association’s advertising function in an efficient and effective manner that is consistent with Business Plan requirements and best meets the needs of Senior Management and other internal customers. Create and manage annual advertising budget. Serve as primary liaison with Rosedale Federal’s advertising agency of record and responsible for the periodic review and evaluation of the agency with recommendations for any changes.
Drive the Public Relations and Community Outreach program and create and manage the budget for the organization. Proactively manage Rosedale Federal’s earned media efforts to maximize the Association’s subject matter expertise as well as positive perception to all target audiences. Originate and lead corporate events, including open house events and any grand openings, leveraging these opportunities as earned media events. Formulate Community Outreach strategy and oversee tactical implementation including tracking Association involvement; analyzing sector support; and building an effective and efficient plan that reflects corporate objectives and reaches target segments. Represent the organization at civic, cultural, charitable and/or educational activities in communities served.
Provide Executive leadership for the Association’s Product, Channel, and Services Management function, defining the company’s overall objectives and strategies that are consistent with the Association’s risk appetite. Drive product, channel, and services lifecycle planning, budgeting, and execution discipline including but not limited to: gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements and data; identifying and understanding the competition as well as the opportunity; defining the product business case and risk analysis; internal client collaboration to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met; collaboratively developing and implementing company-wide go-to-market plans and working with relevant departments to execute; designing and planning marketing training programs for employees as needed to support initiatives; and establishing tracking procedures to monitor all marketing initiatives’ effectiveness.
Initiate and lead the strategic development, analysis and timely dissemination of current, accurate, and actionable business intelligence recommendations for senior management to achieve business goals. Accountable for development, evolution and deployment of Association’s Market Research strategy. Serve as principal Customer Intelligence resource, managing the centralized corporate knowledge around customers, prospects, and the market.
Accountable for developing, evolving, communicating and protecting the Rosedale Federal Brand in all channels and to all publics. Accountable for integrating brand platform into all communication strategies in all channels: advertising, website, social media, direct and field marketing, public and community relations, and corporate communications to enhance awareness of Rosedale Federal’s brand position. Ensure that all publics enjoy a consistent Rosedale Federal brand experience across all communication channels. Provide Executive leadership for establishing tracking procedures in order to monitor the effectiveness of all initiatives. Establish the strategy that sets guardrails for development, design, and maintenance of Marketing Communication channels including the Rosedale Federal website, social media, online/mobile banking, and email engine that are consistent with the brand and meet regulatory requirements.
Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

Your experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Communications or other business field with coursework in related discipline, or equivalent Marketing/Communications experience.
10+ years of professional-level marketing, communications, and/or public relations experience.
5+ years Marketing management/leadership and strategic planning experience with a proven track record in developing and administering a marketing program.
Prior experience in the financial services/banking industry a plus.
