Join our client, a financial services firm, and collaborate with theirinnovativemarketing team as a temporary Public Relations Specialist for 6 months. If you have 3+ years of related experience, a bachelor’s degree, and a successful track record with carrying out PR strategies, we want to hear from you!
About the Job:
Identify opportunities for interviews with targeted broadcast outlets and exclusive stories at major news outlets.
Draft media pitches and press releases.
Promote content to targeted media.
Maintain strong relationships with key outlets, journalists, influencers, etc.
Support profile raising and media relations through other tasks or responsibilities as required.
About You:
3+ years of media relations experience.
Bachelor’s degree in public relations, journalism, or a related field required.
Recently carried out the tactics of PR/comms strategy for your organization.
Self-starter with a high level of integrity and confidentiality.
Ability to translate complex topics into simple messages.
Excellentcollaborationskills and ability to work with all levels of stakeholders.
About the Position:
$44/hr-$53/hr, depending on experience
Temporary for 6 months.
Starting early 2025.
Hybrid with 4 days/week onsite.
Office in Arlington, VA.
