Position: Event and Social Media ManagerObjective:

The Event and Social Media Manager will oversee the execution of facility and mobile events while managing and growing our social media presence. This hands-on, onsite role requires capturing real-time footage, creating engaging content, and delivering an exceptional guest experience during events.

Compensation and Schedule:

Hourly Rate: $17–$20/hour, based on experience.
Additional Earnings: Eligible for tips and performance bonuses tied to social media growth and event success. Eligible for commissions from promo codes and personal bookings!
Hours: Minimum of 20 hours per week, with flexibility during peak event times.
Availability: Evening and weekend availability is required for events and content creation.

Key Responsibilities:Event Management (75%)

Facility and Mobile Events:
Plan, coordinate, and oversee facility and mobile events to ensure smooth operations.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients during events, addressing real-time needs.
Oversee event logistics, including setup, execution, and teardown.
Ensure all equipment and supplies are organized, maintained, and ready for use.
Customer Experience:
Ensure guests have an outstanding experience by addressing concerns promptly and professionally.
Train and supervise part-time event staff to uphold service standards.
Assist in creating and working marketing events that promote the business.
Marketing Event Development:
Collaborate with the leadership team to design and execute unique marketing-focused events that increase awareness and bookings.

Social Media Management (25%)

Content Creation:
Capture live footage, photos, and videos during events to create authentic, engaging content.
Produce and schedule 4–6 high-quality posts per week, including stories, reels, and event highlights.
Focus on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
Write compelling captions and use relevant hashtags to maximize reach.
Engagement and Strategy:
Interact with followers by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely manner.
Monitor social media metrics weekly and adjust strategies to optimize engagement and lead generation.
Advertising:
Run paid advertising campaigns on social platforms to promote events and specials.
Collaborate with the sales team to highlight event offerings and client testimonials.
Brand Development:
Stay current with social media trends and implement innovative strategies to grow our online presence.
Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and reflects the company’s fun and professional image.

Weekly Social Media Goals:

Posts: Create and schedule 4–6 posts per week across Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
Reels/Videos: Produce and publish 2–3 reels or short-form videos weekly showcasing events, guest experiences, and behind-the-scenes content.
Stories: Post at least 3–5 Instagram or Facebook Stories per week, focusing on live updates during events.
Engagement: Respond to 100% of comments and direct messages within 24 hours.
Lead Generation: Generate at least 5 high-quality leads per week through social media campaigns.

Performance Expectations:

Ensure all events are executed on time and exceed client expectations.
Increase social media followers by 25% within six months.
Maintain a minimum engagement rate of 10% on all posts.
Deliver weekly content that highlights the company’s unique offerings and builds brand awareness.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in event management and social media marketing.
Strong creativity and organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
Proficiency with platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and tools like Canva or Adobe Suite.
Availability to work onsite for events and content creation.
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 – $25.00 per hour
