About The RoleAs the Regional Brand Marketing Manager for Washington, DC you will play a pivotal role in building the brand marketing and local partnerships strategy. You are not only a marketing campaign and partnership expert but also an expert in all things Washington DC. As a key face of the business you will build relationships with local businesses, schools, brands (retail, culinary, sports, etc.) and community organizations to drive brand awareness and acquire new customers.
In addition to overseeing the marketing strategy and execution for this region, you will manage a local agency as to scale field marketing tactics. This role will expand to taking on regions outside Washington DC as well. This role is as much of an executor as it is a strategist as we continue our rapid growth.
This individual will sit on the Marketing team and report to the Head of Brand Marketing and Local Partnerships within the broader Growth organization; there is a tremendous amount of growth potential for this role as Wonder continues to scale operations.
Key responsibilities include:
Build and execute the marketing strategy for new store openings
Build and execute the marketing strategy to drive sales and traffic post opening
Build Washington DC specific omni channel Wonder marketing campaigns in partnership with your internal marketing channel experts
Translate business strategy into marketing strategy and identify what channels are best to hit the goals of the business. When applicable work with other members of the marketing organization for deployment on other channels.
Partner with the Data team, as well as work independently, to analyze and interpret campaign response, customer behaviors, segment performance to optimize conversion/retention.
Work closely with the in-house Creative team to drive creative development and execution.
Establish and maintain a disciplined A/B testing approach and effective campaign measurement methodology, including design and management of control groups and regular reporting of results and insights.
Pull performance reports and share out on results to inform learnings and next steps.
Plan, coordinate and participate in local events and promotional activities to reach new customers, enhance our brand image and generate demand; responsible for pre, during and post event programming and follow ups.
