Job Description:
As an Entry Level Business Development Representative, you’ll be the first point of contact for new clients and play a key role in driving the growth of our client’s business. You will be responsible for generating sales opportunities, engaging with potential clients, and supporting our sales team. The role includes a mix of sales-focused fieldwork and office-based responsibilities, allowing you to gain hands-on experience and a strong foundation in sales.

You’ll learn how to prospect new leads, develop client relationships, and work alongside experienced professionals to close deals. This is a great entry-level role for anyone looking to build a career in sales and business development.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Outreach: Identify and contact new leads through calls, emails, and in-person meetings to introduce our services and generate interest.
Fieldwork & Client Engagement: Meet potential clients, attend networking events, and industry conferences to build relationships and represent our company.
Lead Qualification: Assess prospects’ needs and qualify leads to pass along to senior sales staff.
Relationship Building: Cultivate relationships with new and existing clients to build long-term business opportunities.
Sales Support: Assist in the creation of sales materials, presentations, and proposals to help close deals.
Market Research: Stay informed on market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to continuously improve sales tactics.
CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in our CRM system.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience) is preferred but not required.
No prior sales experience required – this is an entry-level role perfect for those looking to start a career in sales.
Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with potential clients confidently.
Motivated, goal-oriented, and eager to learn.
Comfortable with fieldwork and traveling locally in Raleigh to meet clients (valid driver’s license required).
Self-starter who is organized, energetic, and proactive.
