As the Donor Services Coordinator of the United Way of Central Massachusetts (UWCM) you will manage all aspects of the donor service operations to ensure a consistent, high quality donor transactional experience. The Donor Services Coordinator ensures timely and accurate processing of donor contributions and information to provide timely reporting to guide management decisions and increase revenue.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Direct the pledge processing function including preparation and processing of pledge cards and on-line results in compliance with United Way Worldwide standards.
2. Provide logistical support to the Advancement Department to ensure efficient campaign operations.
3. Direct donor transactional communications including the donation acknowledgement process, tax receipting, and monthly pledge receivable billing process.
4. Manage the inventory of all campaign collateral materials, posters, pledge cards, and stationery.
5. Maintain updated donor and pledge receivable records by capturing and entering donor information obtained through daily pledge receivable data.
6. Prepare all pledge receivable bank deposits.
7. Respond to donor questions and inquiries.
8. Serves as a representative of the UWCM by displaying courtesy, tact, consideration, and discretion in all interactions with other members of the UWCM community and with the public.
9. Safeguards all confidential information used in the performance of these duties

Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field preferred. Associate’s Degree in a Business-related field and/or additional work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree
2. 1 to 5 years experience in Business Management, Accounting, or Bookeeping. Direct Accounts Receivable experience preferred.
3. Previous nonprofit fundraising operations experience preferred.
4. Working knowledge of database management software and Microsoft Office products required.
5. Excellent organizational skills including the ability to manage multifaceted projects in conjunction with day to day activities.
6. Superior interpersonal abilities. Ability to get along with diverse personalities; mature and flexible.
7. High attention to detail and demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.
8. Ability to demonstrate initiative and willingness to acquire new skills
9. Service oriented.
10. Ability and willingness to participate in and contribute to departmental and organizational efforts.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 24 per week
