Duties Summary
Exempt, Non-Civil Service, Full-Time, Temporary Appointment. The primary purpose of this position is to focus on implementing various communication and outreach activities for CAMHD’s Substance Abuse Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA)-funded Workforce Activities in Action (WA’A) program. The position will design and implement a comprehensive and successful marketing and communication and outreach plan; engage in public education and outreach activities; liaise with communities, partner agencies, and families to promote and engage in various administrative duties.
Minimum Qualification Requirements
EDUCATION: Graduation from an accredited four (4) year college or university with a bachelor’s degree or university is required, Communications/Media major preferred.
EXPERIENCE: Experience in community relations and community networking preferred. Minimum 2 years of experience in social marketing, communication, and/or public education, preferably related to mental health issues.
LICENSE: Valid Hawaii Driver’s License, preferred.
