Position:  Sales Account Executive (Cape Girardeau, Missouri)

Our Lamar office in St. Louis/East Missouri is now hiring a new Account Executive (salary + commission) to help us bringinnovativeoutdoor advertising campaigns to life for brands in Cape Girardeau, MO and the surrounding areas.

Thepurposeof the Sales Account Executive is to meet and exceed sales objectives in their assigned territory by promoting and selling outdoor advertising to qualified advertisers. An Account Executive (AE) is expected to use professionalsales techniquesand develop long-term advertising relationships that grow Lamar advertising sales.

Please note that this is a remote position; however, the candidate will need to travel to the main office upon hire and once a month for sales meetings.

What’s in it for you?

A Monday-Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm schedule with paid holidays, with a combination of time spent in-office and selling in the field

First-year earning potential of$50,000 – $70,000including commissions, dependent on experience and selling ability

No commission cap, so earning potential is unlimited as you grow your book of business!

Comfort making cold calls over the phone and in-person

Ability to make oral presentations and clearly articulate policies and procedures

Education and experience:

Current and Valid Driver’s License required

College Degree preferred

Previous Outdoor Advertising sales experience preferred

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

CRM experience preferred
