Position Summary:

Reporting to the Chief Partnerships Officer, the Senior Director, Marketing has primary responsibility for all marketing functions at ACUE. This includes, but is not limited to, the company’s strategic marketing direction, managing both B2B and B2C marketing go-to-market strategy, campaign planning and development, and connecting to the Sales team to drive exponential growth. This hands-on position includes leadership and execution around the Marketing and Sales channels while also interfacing with Operations, Academics, and Research.

The successful candidate is an established Marketer with deep experience developing robust growth strategies around B2B and B2C marketing, multi-channel development, and working with early-stage companies. In addition, this individual should have a deep passion for working for a mission-based company and thrive in high-growth organizations.

The Senior Director, Marketing will:

Responsibilities:
Lead and develop an integrated Marketing/Sales Strategy
Translates the overall marketing vision into integrated business plans, tactics, and deliverables
Be accountable to all external partner and prospect communication through Marketing channel
Develop and ensure ACUE has a strong brand presence through its website and LinkedIn profile
Develop and implement department marketing plan and its appropriate KPIs.
Emphasize strategy in B2B marketing to fuel explosive growth
Ensure our brand, PR, and communications strategy fully support the strategic vision
Lead outsourced vendor relationships and is accountable for those outcomes
Oversee design and coordination of campaigns, PR, and cross-channel marketing efforts
Work collaboratively with key stakeholders to develop product strategy
Identify opportunities to address gaps and needs tied to growth
Develops budgets, resources, and teams to execute short-term and long-term marketing plans

Skills and Experience
8+ years of proven experience as a Senior Marketing Leader or similar leadership role
12+ years of experience in Marketing
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field
Experience with sophisticated partner and prospect marketing in the Higher Education space
Demonstrable experience in developing efficient B2B business plans for all marketing aspects (branding, product promotion, etc.)
Solid understanding of market research and data analysis methods
Collaborate internally to guide a unified approach to partner service, distribution, etc.
Ability to apply marketing techniques over digital (e.g., social media) and non-digital (e.g., press) channels
Understanding of different business disciplines (IT, finance, etc.)
Proficient in MS Office and business software (e.g., CRM)
A leader with both creative and analytical capabilities
Outstanding communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal abilities
Startup/scale-up experience in a fast-paced environment preferred
Comfortable presenting to and influencing at the leadership level

This position is remote, but the ability to occasionally travel (10%) is required.

Competitive Compensation Package:

We provide a competitive compensation and benefits package, including a salary between $135,000 – $155,000 commensurate with experience and responsibilities.
