Job Overview:
We are looking for a Sales and Marketing Expert with a strong background in the agriculture industry , preferably with experience in the food delivery chain sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing sales strategies, driving market expansion, and establishing partnerships in the agriculture and food supply chain ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development:
Develop and implement sales strategies to drive growth in the agricultural and food delivery market.
Identify and onboard farmers, agricultural suppliers, FPOs (Farmer Producer Organizations), food processors, and restaurant chains as key partners.
Build strong B2B and B2C networks for selling agricultural produce to food delivery chains, restaurants, and retailers.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify business opportunities.
Develop and manage relationships with logistics partners, cold storage facilities, and distribution centers .
Marketing & Branding:
Plan and execute marketing campaigns to promote agricultural products in the food delivery and retail sectors.
Utilize digital marketing, social media, and influencer marketing for
brand awareness
.
Develop pricing, promotional, and loyalty programs to enhance sales.
Collaborate with food tech platforms and retail chains to optimize product placement and branding.
Customer & Partner Engagement:
Work closely with farmers, wholesalers, retailers, and food delivery platforms to streamline supply chain operations.
Optimize customer experience and ensure product quality standards are met.
Develop strategies for
customer retention
, referrals, and partnership growth .
Key
Skills & Requirements:
✅ Proven 5+ years of experience in sales & marketing in the agriculture, food delivery, or agri-tech sector.
✅ Strong understanding of agricultural supply chains, food processing, and farm-to-fork models .
✅ Experience in B2B and B2C sales strategies with a focus on agriculture and food logistics.
✅
Hands-on
expertise in digital marketing, branding, and customer acquisition .
✅ Excellent negotiation,
communication
, and business development skills.
✅ Familiarity with CRM tools, data analytics, and performance tracking metrics .
✅ Ability to work in a
