Materialise is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales and Marketing Manager to lead and inspire our Motion team in North America.
In your role as a Sales and Marketing Manager, you will combine strategic planning, team leadership, and hands-oncollaboration to achieve ambitious sales and marketing objectives.
What you will do
Develop and execute a comprehensive sales plan to achieve organizational sales objectives in the North American (NOAM) region
Translate organizational goals into actionable objectives for the team, ensuring alignment with overall business targets
Proactively drive business development by acquiring large and strategic accounts
Coach and support the US-based Motion sales team to maximize performance and success
Manage and monitor independent sales agents, ensuring they achieve their sales targets
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and prospects to foster long-term partnerships and achieve revenue goals
Oversee consistent pricing and the correctness of outgoing quotations to ensure that the customer is given an honest and correct proposal
Marketing Management:
Develop and implement a strategic marketing plan to support sales efforts in the NOAM region
Gather and analyze competitive insights with the support of team members to inform strategic decisions
Collaborate with the product team to create effective Go-To-Market (GTM) plans
Manage the regional marketing budget to optimize ROI and resource allocation
Coach and support the marketing team
Coordinate and prioritize department activities to ensure efficient, high-quality services for internal and external customers
Oversee the collection and analysis of data on consumer behavior, competitive positioning, and market trends to facilitate accurate decision-making
Develop reporting tools to streamline communication and information flow across management and the marketing department
Mentor and develop the sales, application, and marketing teams to enhance their skills and foster a high-performing department
Stay updated on industry developments to ensure strategies and services remain relevant and cutting-edge
Collaborate closely with other management team members, including Operations, R&D, Finance, and Sales & Marketing managers from other regions.
Actively participate in PI planning, presenting regional needs and growth strategies for the NOAM region to the table
Your profile
Proven experience in sales and marketing management within the footcare industry
Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, inspire, and develop a diverse team
Strategic mindset with experience in business development and account acquisition
Excellent analytical skills to assess competitive insights, sales performance, and market trends
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with internal teams and external clients
Financial acumen to manage budgets and align marketing investments with sales goals
