Summary

The primary responsibility of the Director of Sales & Marketing is the overall management of Sales, Marketing, Production Planning, and Customer Logistics. The position is accountable for the development of the Sales and Marketing plan that leads to meeting the Company’s strategic and annual operating plan as it relates to sales revenue.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Provide strong leadership and direction to the Marketing and Sales function.

· Plan and coordinate the development of an annual Marketing and Sales Plan.

· Active participation with strategic customers that meet the criteria for our business.

· Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of sales, methods, costs, and results.

· Develop and manage sales and marketing budgets, and oversee the development and management of operating budgets at customer level.

· Participate in the development of new project proposals for both products and customers.

· Ensure the greatest level of competitive sales performance within the industry using established measurement standards and benchmarks.

· Maintain strong working relationships with Business partners in Live Operations, Operations, Finance, Human Resources, and Quality Assurance departments.

· Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate department staff.

· Establish and implement short and long range goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.

· Supervise the planning and development of company marketing and communications materials.

· Represent the company at various community and/or business meetings to promote the company.

· Supervise the preparation, issuance, and delivery of sales materials, exhibits, and promotional programs.

· Promote positive relations with partners, vendors, and distributors.

· Recommend and administer policies and procedures to enhance operations.

· Work with department managers to develop and implement one- and three-year marketing and sales business plans for the company.

· All other duties as assigned

Education and/or Experience

· Masters Degree in Marketing, Business Management, or related field and a minimum ten years of experience in a senior level marketing or sales or position, or a relevant combination of education and experience.

· Experience in strategic planning and execution.

· Experience in planning marketing strategies, advertising campaigns, and successful public relations efforts.

· Experience in Retail Food Service and International sales

· Requires willingness to work a flexible work schedule

Knowledge/Skills

· Knowledge of contracting, negotiating, and change management

· Knowledge of PC and basic computer applications

· Professional written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills.

· Proven leadership abilities including ability to motivate teams and simultaneously manage several projects, and participate in and facilitate group meetings.

· Excellent analytical and organizational skills

Supervisory Responsibilities

List the supervisory responsibilities this position must perform; include the department or position titles responsible for and the level of authority exercised in performing the responsibilities.

· The Director of Sales and Marketing will be provided limited supervision and is expected to handle all sales/sales situations independently. The position allows tremendous flexibility, accountability, creativity, and opportunity in order to accomplish the sales mission.

· Directly supervises, motivates, trains, and evaluates performance of the Sales Manager, Product Coordinator, Sales Representatives, and Administrative Assistant.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $82,130.00 – $90,714.00 per year
