Role Overview:
The Director of Sales will be responsible for driving sales growth through both inside and outside sales, leading a small team, and managing revenue generation across various business areas, including the front desk, maintenance accounts, and fundraising e-commerce. This role will focus on expanding our customer base, generating new business, and supporting the development of internal marketing strategies to promote our services and drive growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Inside Sales: Manage inbound leads, follow up on potential sales opportunities, and close deals via phone, email, and virtual meetings.
Outside Sales: Generate new leads, build relationships with prospective clients, and represent the company at local events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to grow the business.
Drive new revenue growth through proactive sales strategies and new client acquisition.
Manage and mentor a small team of salespeople and support staff, ensuring alignment with sales goals.
Oversee the front desk, maintenance accounts, and fundraising e-commerce business segments.
Support Marketing Development: Work closely with the leadership team to assist in creating and implementing marketing strategies, both for internal campaigns and external outreach, to boost lead generation and brand awareness.
Set and monitor sales goals for the team to ensure continuous growth.
Track and report on sales performance, including lead generation, conversions, and revenue growth.
Collaborate with leadership to develop and execute the overall sales strategy.
Compensation:
Base Salary: $70,000 – $90,000 (depending on experience)
Commission: 5% on all new revenue growth above last year’s total sales. You’ll be rewarded for growing the business through new clients, new contracts, and expanding existing customer relationships.
Bonus Opportunities: Quarterly and annual performance bonuses based on achieving or exceeding sales targets.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in sales, preferably in a leadership role (minimum 5 years).
Strong track record of driving new business growth and managing a sales team.
Experience in inside sales (handling inbound leads and closing deals remotely) and outside sales (building relationships, attending events, and generating new leads).
Experience working collaboratively on marketing to create and implement strategies to drive customer acquisition.
Ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet or exceed revenue targets.
Excellent communication, leadership, and motivational skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in the custom apparel or e-commerce sectors is a plus.
