About the Role:

Our client, a leading FMCG company in the UAE, is seeking a Director of Sales to drive business growth, expand market share, and lead high-performing sales teams. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership, business development expertise, and deep knowledge of the UAE FMCG market.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement a robust sales strategy to drive revenue growth and market penetration.

Market Expansion: Identify new business opportunities, channels, and partnerships to strengthen market position.

Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team to exceed targets.

Key Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with major retailers, distributors, and key stakeholders.

Performance & Revenue Growth: Set and achieve ambitious sales targets, ensuring consistent business growth.

P&L Management: Oversee budgeting, pricing strategies, and financial forecasting to maximize profitability.

Consumer Insights & Market Trends: Stay ahead of industry trends and consumer behavior to drive innovation and competitiveness.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, supply chain, and product teams to align sales strategies.

Key Requirements:

Experience: 12+ years in FMCG sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role in the UAE/GCC.

Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the FMCG sector, including retail, modern trade, and distribution channels.

Leadership Skills: Proven ability to build, lead, and inspire high-performing sales teams.

Market Expertise: Established network and relationships with key retailers and distributors in the region.

P&L Management: Experience in revenue forecasting, budgeting, and driving profitability.

Analytical & Negotiation Skills: Strong data-driven decision-making abilities with exceptional negotiation skills.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
