We are seeking a skilled and experienced Bicycle Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bicycle repair and maintenance, with expertise in advanced systems such as hydraulic brakes, e-bikes, suspension, and wheel building. You will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing a wide range of bicycles, ensuring every bike leaves our shop in perfect working condition.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform general bicycle repairs and maintenance, including tune-ups, brake adjustments, drivetrain servicing, and more.
Diagnose and repair hydraulic brake systems, suspension systems, and e-bike components.
Build, true, and tension wheels with precision and attention to detail.
Inspect and assess bicycles for safety and performance issues.
Provide excellent customer service, explaining repairs and maintenance needs clearly and professionally.
Stay up-to-date with the latest bicycle technologies and repair techniques.
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 6 months of professional bicycle repair experience.
Proven expertise in hydraulic systems, e-bikes, suspension servicing, and wheel building.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Certification from a recognized bicycle mechanic program (e.g., Barnett, UBI, or similar) is a plus.
Passion for cycling and a deep understanding of cycling culture.
