Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Director of Digital Marketing to lead our digital marketing strategy and execution during a high growth phase. This individual will be responsible for meeting revenue goals by driving web traffic and optimizing the overall web experience, as well as managing a small team of individual contributors who specialize in specific digital channels. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of scaling digital marketing programs, enhancing customer journeys, and leading high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities: Digital Marketing Strategy and Leadership

Develop and execute a comprehensive digital marketing strategy aligned with business objectives to drive online revenue growth and brand awareness through the company’s owned Shopify website.
Lead and oversee the implementation of digital campaigns on Google, Bing, Meta, Klaviyo, Influencer and Publisher partnerships, and other paid channels.Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to ensure the company remains at the forefront of digital marketing innovation.
Build and implement a strategy for conversion rate optimization (CRO) to improve user engagement, user experience, and drive incremental conversions.

Web Traffic Growth and Experience Optimization

Own and enhance the web experience, driving strategies to increase site traffic, engagement, and conversion rates.
Collaborate with design, content, and development teams to ensure a seamless, user-centric website experience.
Implement data-driven enhancements through A/B testing, personalization, and other optimization techniques to improve website performance.

Performance Marketing Management

Supervise and guide the team in the execution of campaigns across key digital channels, including Meta, Google Ads, and other paid marketing platforms.
Oversee and develop strategies for customer acquisition, demand generation, and lead nurturing to meet and exceed growth targets.
Manage and expand upon affiliate marketing efforts to drive additional traffic and conversions.
Ensure effective budgeting, bidding strategies, and ROI optimization for all performance marketing efforts.

Inbound and Outbound Marketing

Oversee and coordinate outbound marketing strategies to achieve website traffic and overall business goals, including outreach to influencers, podcasts, and strategic partners.
Align content marketing, SEO, paid media, and other marketing tactics to create a cohesive, multi-channel approach for inbound traffic.

Analytics and Reporting

Define KPIs and success metrics for digital marketing initiatives and provide regular performance reporting to key stakeholders.
Leverage analytics platforms and tools to derive actionable insights and inform decision-making.
Monitor the effectiveness of campaigns and continuously improve strategies based on data.

Qualifications and Skills:

Experience: 8+ years of experience in digital marketing, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role.
5+ years experience with Shopify
5+ years experience with Google or Microsoft Ads
5+ years experience with social media advertising (eg; Meta, TikTok, Twitter)
3+ years experience with conversion rate optimization (CRO)
2+ years experience with affiliate marketing
2+ years with influencer marketing and building strategic partnerships
Digital Expertise: Strong expertise in web traffic generation, performance marketing, and website optimization.
Industry: Strong preference for eCommerce and/or consumer product goods (CPG)
Leadership: Proven experience managing and developing high-performing marketing teams.
Analytical Mindset: Proficiency in data analytics and experience working with platforms like Google Analytics, Looker Studio, Shopify Analytics, Google Search Console, and similar tools.
Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically while executing tactically in a fast-paced environment.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in an understandable format.
Bachelor’s Degree: In Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field (MBA preferred).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $120,000.00 – $140,000.00 per year
