Tetrate seeks a hands-on, technically-minded Manager/Senior Manager of Technical Product Marketing to bridge the gap between our products and the practitioners who use them, demonstrating how we solve Layer 7 challenges and security vulnerabilities.
Responsibilities:
Technical Content Creation: develop high-quality technical content including demos, architecture diagrams, whitepapers, solution briefs, blog posts, and battlecards.
Messaging & Positioning: translate complex technical features into compelling value propositions for platform engineers, SREs, and architects.
Demo & Enablement Support: partner with product and solution engineering teams to build and maintain demo environments, create and manage reusable demo scripts, and create technical presentations
Technical Sales Plays: build and execute sales playbooks tailored to technical audiences and specific use cases (e.g., service mesh adoption, zero trust, compliance).
GTM Strategy & Execution: help plan and execute product launches, with a focus on technical field readiness and enablement.
Event & Webinar Support: represent the technical value of our solutions at industry events, customer webinars, workshops, and virtual labs.
Market Insights: Stay closely aligned with customer feedback and solution engineering insights to continuously refine content and positioning. Capture demand signals and key purchase drivers, and relay them back to the product team to inform ongoing roadmap and positioning calibration.
Project Management: Take ownership of specific projects and initiatives, managing execution from start to finish while adapting to an evolving startup environment.
Required Skills:
Experience: 3–6 years in product marketing, technical marketing, solutions engineering, or developer advocacy with a strong focus on technical audiences.
Startup Mentality: a bias for action, comfort with ambiguity, and ability to juggle multiple priorities in a high-growth environment.
Technical Acumen: comfortable explaining cloud-native architectures, Kubernetes, service mesh, and security concepts to technical practitioners.
Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to support messaging development and sales enablement.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Experience working with cross-functional teams, including product, sales, customer success, and design, to support GTM initiatives
Self-Starter: Proactive and resourceful, able to work independently and drive projects forward with guidance rather than constant oversight.
