About Madrigal:Madrigal is a biopharmaceutical company pursuing novel therapeutics for non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH), also known as metabolic dysfunction associated steatohepatitis (MASH). Our first therapy, Rezdiffra (resmetirom), was granted accelerated approval by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the treatment of adults with NASH with moderate to advanced liver fibrosis (consistent with stages F2 to F3 fibrosis) and is being studied in a Phase 3 trial for the treatment of NASH with compensated cirrhosis.

Role Overview:Senior Director, Global MarketingThe Senior Director, Global Marketing will be a key member on the Marketing team focused on driving global and country-level alignment with brand strategy. This is an exciting and unique opportunity to be an integral leader in driving the launches Rezdiffra outside the U.S. Rezdiffra is currently the first and only U.S. FDA-approved treatment for NASH with moderate to advanced liver fibrosis.

In partnership with the U.S. HCP and DTC Brand Leads and their respective team, this individual will serve as the key point of contact and collaborate with key ex-US launch teams to align on market development and commercial launch efforts of Rezdiffra with the initial focus in key European markets.

This position is designed for a highly strategic marketing leader who will be required and empowered to help shape brand strategy, commercial launch preparedness, guide effective tactical plans, and create visibility on timelines across the organization.

Position Responsibilities:

Maximize commercial potential and drive post-launch brand performance in all markets

Align with cross-functional teams (R&D, regulatory affairs, sales, and medical affairs) to ensure smooth ex-US country product launches

Oversee the resmetirom product lifecycle, from pre-launch through to post-launch activities

Be an ambassador and propagate launch best practices from U.S. marketing efforts including (but not limited to) disease awareness and education, patient identification, multi-channel branded initiatives and customer insights

Effectively collaborate to ensure alignment and success with marketing members and cross-functional partners including PRC/MLR, market research, analytics, medical affairs, regulatory, legal, compliance, field, etc

Lead agency partners, manage budget, and evaluate global deliverables to ensure appropriate resource allocation and timely delivery within financial constraints

Qualifications and Skills Required:

Proven ability to think strategically, align stakeholders, and drive performance in diverse markets

Motivated and accountable self-starter with ability to work independently with minimal direction

Superb project management skills (prioritization, timelines, budget, etc.) with ability to balance several workstreams simultaneously

Excellent communication and cross-functional partnering skills with ability to influence

Driven to exceed expectations with desire to develop and grow professionally

Ability to thrive in fast-paced business environment and comfortable with ambiguity

Strong clinical acumen with ability to translate clinical data into compelling communications

Strong analytical skills and ability to translate insights into actionable strategies and tactics

Travel is required – up to 25% of the time (including weekends as needed)

Hybrid working – required to be in office 3 days per week (Conshohocken, PA or Waltham, MA)
