We’re looking for a Social Media Coordinator to help bring our clients’ online brands to life. This role is not just about posting content; it’s about creating engagement, sparking conversations, and ensuring that every post, story, and interaction aligns with a larger brand strategy. The right candidate will have a passion for social media, a strong understanding of brand voice, and the ability to craft compelling content that resonates with audiences.
Full-time, hybrid remote. (Mondays and Tuesdays required in-office.)
Responsibilities
Content Strategy & Development
Plan, develop, and execute social media content across multiple platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and others.
Create and maintain a content calendar that aligns with client goals, seasonal trends, and ongoing campaigns.
Write and edit engaging captions, social media copy, and blogs that reflect each brand’s unique voice and messaging.
Work with the creative team to develop high-quality visual assets, including images, graphics, and short-form videos.
Ensure that all content follows best practices for engagement, discoverability, and conversion.
Community Engagement & Brand Presence
Actively monitor and engage with client communities, responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and thoughtful manner.
Foster meaningful interactions with followers, influencers, and industry leaders to build brand affinity and strengthen audience relationships.
Identify opportunities for organic engagement, such as trending topics, cultural moments, and relevant conversations.
Implement strategies that encourage user-generated content, testimonials, and brand advocacy.
Analytics, Reporting & Optimization
Track, measure, and report on key performance indicators, including engagement rates, reach, impressions, follower growth, and conversions.
Use data insights to adjust strategies and improve content performance over time.
Stay informed about platform algorithm updates and emerging trends to continuously refine content approaches.
Work with the marketing and strategy teams to provide insights on social media performance and audience behavior.
Collaboration & Execution
Partner with designers, videographers, and marketing strategists to bring social campaigns to life.
Align content with broader digital marketing efforts, including email campaigns, website updates, and advertising initiatives.
Support client success managers by understanding client objectives and ensuring social media content reflects their brand positioning.
Contribute to brainstorming and creative sessions to develop innovative social media concepts and campaigns.
Who We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate is highly creative, detail-oriented, and passionate about social media as a storytelling and engagement tool. They should be able to balance strategy with execution, ensuring that content not only looks good but also serves a purpose.
Key Qualifications
Experience: 2+ years of hands-on social media management experience, preferably in an agency setting.
Writing Skills: Strong ability to craft compelling captions, social copy, and brand-aligned messaging.
Platform Knowledge: Deep understanding of Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok, including their best practices, algorithms, and features.
Engagement & Community Building: Ability to foster online conversations and build brand communities.
Content Creation: Experience working with designers, photographers, and videographers to develop high-quality content.
Analytics & Strategy: Familiarity with tools such as Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, Later, Hootsuite, or similar for tracking performance and optimizing content.
Video Trends: Experience with short-form video content (Reels, TikTok, Stories) and an understanding of what makes videos successful on each platform.
Detail-Oriented & Organized: Ability to manage multiple brands and projects simultaneously while maintaining consistency and quality.
A Note: The First 90 Days
The first ninety (90) days of employment shall be considered a trial period. Upon completion of these initial 90 days, Employee and Employer will conduct an evaluation to determine whether the two wish to continue the working relationship.
