The Senior Event Executive is responsible for the end-to-end coordination and execution of marketing events and activations at Abu Dhabi Mall. This role requires strong organizational skills, stakeholder coordination, vendor management, and an eye for detail to ensure smooth delivery of events aligned with the mall’s strategic objectives.

Responsibilities

Manage and organize all marketing storage and related assets.

Coordinate and secure with DED, DCT, and other relevant authorities to obtain all necessary approvals.

Prepare and submit monthly reports covering market competition, industry trends, emerging technologies, and benchmark practices from other malls.

Compile post-event reports, including assessments, key takeaways, and actionable recommendations for future improvements.

Build and maintain a strong network of agencies and suppliers, introducing at least one new potential partner each month and sharing their portfolio.

Collaborate with technical, security, and cleaning teams during pre-event preparations and post-event wrap-up.

Support the tendering process and contribute to event budgeting and cost assessments.

Lead event project management: monitor progress, track milestones, and manage internal schedules and communication.

Supervise all installations with accurate measurements and detailed planning to prevent last-minute challenges.

Oversee supplier activities during events, ensuring proper coordination, testing, and smooth execution.

Coordinate with Lightower and other technical suppliers to ensure reliable sound and lighting setups.

Work closely with the technical team to plan ahead and mitigate any installation issues.

Refurbish and activate vacant units for marketing use when required.

Manage hoarding installations in alignment with mall standards and branding guidelines.

Identify opportunities for pop-ups, seasonal markets, and activations that enhance the mall’s value proposition.

Coordinate the installation and operation of promotional podiums.

Support planning and coordination for new store openings.

Provide cross-departmental support as needed.

Act as the custodian of all mall marketing touchpoints: perform daily inspections, maintain weekly documentation for branding, hoardings, signage, and wayfinding, and initiate corrective actions when required.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Events Management, Communications, or a related field.

Experience:

Minimum of 4–6 years of experience in events, marketing, or mall activations, preferably within the retail or hospitality sector.

Proven experience in handling end-to-end event coordination and multi-vendor management.

Strong background in government approval processes (e.g., DED, DCT) is an advantage.

Technical Proficiency:

Strong knowledge of event logistics and installation planning.

Proficient in MS Office and basic budgeting tools.

Language:

Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus
