Senior Exec/Assistant Manager, Digital Engagement & Communications (2 years contract)
Job Description:
Co-create
communication
materials with CTO and other IT Heads Participate in digital marketing and content curation for business and IT projects
Synchronise
communication
and
change management
plans across IT teams to support IT and digital programmes and initiatives
Vet and oversee all internal and operational communications (e.g. notices, announcements, and outage messages) before their release to the community
Create content and conduct communications classes
Assist with planning and overall
project management
of all departmental and external engagement activities
Support CTO and IT Heads with their internal/external engagements and communications
Requirements:
Qualifications in Communications and New Media/equivalent
At least 5 years of relevant experience in the IT or Higher
Education
industry, with a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory and/or academic role Excellent facilitation and
communication skills
, both written and oral Excellent
communication
, writing, copywriting, and editing skills with strong
critical thinking
skills
IT savvy, in-tune with the digital economy and familiar with digital public relations platforms
Good stakeholder management, interpersonal, and influencing skills
Experienced in
change management
and
project management
Empathetic, resourceful, with a strong drive for excellence and passionate about making a positive difference
