Description
Amazon is seeking an intuitive, high-judgment, self-motivated, and creative communications professional to join our AWS World-Wide Public Sector (WWPS) front office as the Senior Internal Business Communications Manager.
The Senior Internal Business Communications Manager is responsible for developing effective internal businesscommunicationstrategies to keep our employees and customers informed, engaged, and aligned with the company’s vision, values, and objectives. Key areas include internal communications content creation and curation, internal business channel management, and maintenance of resources used across internal communications teams. This role owns the WWPS center of excellence for internal business communications.
This role will proactively build trust and maintain strong, cross-functional relationships with key internal stakeholders (Public Relations, Marketing, Public Policy, IDE, Global Executive Relationship team, etc.) to create and distribute compelling business content across multiple platforms, fostering a culture of open andtransparent communication.
Key job responsibilities
– Develop and execute a strategic andinnovativeinternal businesscommunicationplan for WWPS
– Manage complex, fast-moving, and unexpected business communications challenges with an ability to look around corners for risk
– Manage all WWPS business internalcommunicationchannels, analyze channel metrics, and make data-driven adjustments to optimize communications
– Own WWPS salesleadershipmessaging and content repository, ensuring it aligns to business goals and trends
– Write, review, and manage business-specific email communications, updates, change announcements,leadershipmessaging, and ad hoc communications
– Draft and curate content for internal business newsletters, Slack channels, and other platforms
– Be the employee experience advocate, representing and protecting this through all strategies and decision-making
– Serve as an internal business communications subject matter expert and resource for the wider WWPS organization; share tools and content with the WWPS Sales Areas
– Exercise extremely high judgment, particularly in narrow time frames
– Roll up sleeves and get work done, even when at times its outside the scope of the job.
