Senior Manager, Consumer Paid Media
The Senior Manager, Consumer Paid Media will drive the strategy for efficient B2C paid media acquisition through both online and offline awareness and direct response tactics. This individual will be extremely data-driven with a relentless focus on performance andoptimization. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with expertise in paid search, paid social, audio, and CTV channels. You will drive state-based brand-lift, traffic, and conversion goals maximizing awareness and efficiency.
In this role, you will coach two direct reports to test, build, automate, and scale paid media initiatives. You will work with and lead both technical and non-technical stakeholders in solving problems in a timely and agile manner. The scope of this role focuses on delivering against KPIs while innovating and finding efficiencies through deep expertise, frequent testing, and agile and swiftproblem solving.
What you’ll do:
Develop, execute, measure, and optimize efficient campaign strategy for state-based direct response acquisition campaigns across paid search and paid social.
Develop, execute, measure, and optimize strategic awareness marketing campaigns across audio and video channels, in partnership with Brand.
Leverage consumer insights to implement and optimize campaign and audience segmentation strategies, working cross-functionally (eg PMM, Brand, Content) to align creative and messaging with Alma’s product offering.
Coach and develop direct reports in campaign management, channeloptimization, vendorcommunication, measurement, and strategic agility.
Support a data-driven strategy – responsible for building strong tracking and reporting infrastructure for all paid media channels.
Own a high-performing creative strategy through data-driven AB testing of variables, concepts, and landing pages.
Own vendor relationships; negotiate terms and onboard new partners with thorough launch plans.
Test into incremental digital media channels such as reviews and business listings.
Stayup-to-dateon performance marketing and creative best practices and trends.
Who you are:
You have 6-8 years ofhands-onpaid media experience and 2-4 years of people management experience.
Proven experience running paid search and video campaigns with a focus on audience targeting and top of funnel growth.
You are extremely agile and an amazing problem-solver; no problem is too difficult for you to solve in a timely manner.
Stronganalytical skillswith a data-driven approach to testing,optimization, and measurement.
You possess proven experience with server-side tracking, incremental, and attribution.
You have experience efficiently managing a large budget across multiple channels.
You can comfortably oscillate between strategy and tactical optimizations.
You have a test and learn mindset, with a strong bias toward action.
You’re able to monitor processes, progress, results, and design feedback loops into your work across cross-functional stakeholders.
You demonstrate strong decision-making through thoughtful and smart data analysis.
