About The RoleConfluent is seeking a dynamic Sr. Manager of Growth & Event Strategy to lead our global demand generation events strategy. This role provides an outstanding opportunity to create a significant impact within a fast-growing business. You will drive the strategic events demand generation process, aligning with internal stakeholders to enhance attendance and achieve event goals.

What You Will Do

Audience Acquisition Strategy:

Identify target audiences and develop segmentation strategies based on attendee personas.

Create and implement audience acquisition campaigns to promote and drive event attendance.

Collaborate with the cross-functional teams to map out tasks and set expectations for audience engagement.

Promotional Positioning & Messaging:

Oversee the creation of promotional content for various channels (email, social media, paid media, etc).

Develop clear value propositions and messaging that effectively communicate the benefits of our events.

Ensure all promotional materials align with brand standards by collaborating with internal creative teams.

Sales Enablement:

Collaborate with Sales Enablement leads to equip internal teams with effective tools and information to promote event attendance.

Develop enablement assets sales teams to facilitate lead follow-up post-event.

Performance Measurement:

Analyze event performance metrics, including MQLs (Marketing Qualified Leads), pipeline contributions, attendance rates, and engagement.

Collaborate with the analytics team to assess the effectiveness of event campaigns and identify areas for improvement.

Prepare and present reports on campaign outcomes to inform future event strategies and adjustments.

What You Will Bring

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.

6-8+ years in events marketing, with a strong record in planning and executing impactful demand generation strategies for first party events (self hosted)

Strong analytical abilities and a datadriven mindset to inform strategy.

Proven experience managing crossfunctional collaboration and leading teams.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster partnerships.

Knowledge of Marketo, Tableau and Salesforce is essential.
