Job Summary:Crooked Media is hiring a Senior Marketing Manager to join the team to manage strategy and tactics for our revenue generating businesses: ecommerce, subscription, live events & tour and books. This is an exciting opportunity to oversee the marketing strategy and tactics for our commercial products and help us grow revenue and a more dynamic business. This role is based in Los Angeles, CA, reports directly to the VP of Marketing and will be highly visible to the wider organization.

Crooked has adopted a hybrid work model for our entire staff. We believe that the best work is done in a hybrid capacity as it combines the flexibility of working from home with in-person collaboration. We are ideally looking for Los Angeles-based candidates, or candidates willing to relocate within the first 3 months of accepting an offer.How You’ll Spend Your Time:You will lead marketing for our Friends of the Pod subscription product, the Crooked Store (our ecommerce business), our live touring & events business and Crooked Media Reads (our book imprint).

Strategy and Planning

Work with VP of Marketing and business leads to develop marketing and promotional strategies and timelines based on product roadmaps, launches and other key priorities. You will lead conversations with partners both externally and internally to gather information, align on strategies and bring campaigns and promotional beats to life.

Align Promotional Elements

Depending on the project, you will work with internal partners to manage promotion of commercial products across content marketing, landing pages, email marketing, Crooked network promotion, paid media, social marketing, influencer and press. You will lead on strategy and execution, with support from internal marketing team and external agencies.

Measurement and Reporting

Work with business leads on weekly reporting of efforts via a weekly revenue check in and quarterly reporting to align with quarterly board meetings. Measurement and reporting will also feed into optimizations that you’ll develop with the VP of Marketing

Creative Asset Development and Overall Messaging

As with most roles at Crooked, you’ll have a hand in shaping how we speak to our audience about the things that we’re doing. You’ll spend time in creative meetings, whether it’s about new merch ideas, episode development for our subscription shows or new books that are being written under our imprint. You’ll also get to know our staff writers, who you’ll work with to help shape messaging about the products that we offer that will take shape in promotional assets, audio ads, social assets and the like.

What You’ll Bring To The Table

:

5-7 years’ experience on a marketing team – preferably overseeing the marketing and promotion of commercial/revenue-generating products
