Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front of House Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the food industry, particularly in fine dining or quick service fast food environments.
Duties
Supervise and coordinate front of house staff, including servers, hosts, and bartenders, to ensure excellent customer service.
Manage shift operations, including staff scheduling and training to maintain high standards of service.
Oversee cash handling procedures and ensure accurate financial transactions.
Collaborate with the culinary team to maintain quality food preparation and presentation.
Monitor inventory levels and assist in inventory control processes to minimize waste and optimize resources.
Optimize and run all social media marketing and promotions.
Handle catering and event booking.
Assist in budgeting processes by tracking food, liquor and labor expenses.
Requirements
Proven experience in the food industry, preferably in a managerial role within fine dining or quick service fast food restaurants.
Strong skills in social media and marketing.
Ability to plan and forecast Auburn university sports program events for sports bar.
Excellent shift management capabilities with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
Proficient in cash handling procedures and point-of-sale systems.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for inventory control.
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service excellence.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 – $50,000.00 per year
