We are adding a Head of Growth to our remote-first team to lead an integrated marketing function focused on lead generation. You’ll be creating, operating, and improving our lead generation marketing engine. This is a role for someone with an analytical mind who is obsessed with performance marketing and capturing converted leads, yet able to message in a way that delivers genuine value, telling our story through the lens of our customers, and aligning with the way customers want to buy. What you will do in the Head of Growth Marketing role:

Develop and implement an integrated Go-To-Market strategy across all channels
Work collaboratively to align company and sales objectives with marketing vision, objections and annual marketing plans and budget
Partner with Product and Sales to understand the customer journey to implement initiatives tailored to multiple audiences
Own the end-to-end management, planning, and execution of our demand generation programs — including implementation, testing, optimization, reporting, and analysis
Partner on website updates to create optimization for conversion
Own all digital channels that Picnic leverages for paid advertising and promotion
Manage Picnic’s social media accounts, blogs, and content strategy execution
Bring analytical rigor and curiosity to gather data inside and outside the organization and translate that to usable insights that help drive strategic decisions
Manage partner marketing channels and shared go-to-market strategies
Plan and execute email marketing campaigns
Lead the implementation of appropriate tracking methods and metrics to analyze execution results, communicate marketing ROI and drive continuous improvement
Produce sales enablement collateral, including sell sheets and sales decks
Manage agency relationships and project coordination

Required:

Cybersecurity marketing experience at a SaaS startup
Deep understanding of growth marketing and demand generation execution
Prior record of managing department budget and ad spend
Operational mastery and know-how of typical marketing stack (e.g. Hubspot)
High competence in generating and presenting performance data

Preferred:

Located in DC/VA/MD area
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in marketing, communications or similar
Experience marketing a security or related IT managed service
Experience working for/with domain channel partners (i.e. VAR, MSP, MSSP) opportunities
Record of marketing to highly regulated industries and/or public sector
Ability to float between strategy and execution
Track record of utilizing data to inform strategic decisions
Ability to thrive in a startup environment, wearing multiple hats, and growing with the company
Tactical experience with digital marketing campaigns
History of partnering with sales team to ensure alignment and achieve common goals
Proficient in copywriting and/or basic graphic design
