Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly talented, intrinsically motivated Chief Operations Officer (COO) to partner with us in launching and scaling the best fundraising platform on the planet. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in operational leadership, fundraising, and investor relations, alongside a passion for social impact and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:** Collaborate with the executive team to define and implement the strategic vision and operational framework for FundMeSmart.
Investor Relations:** Identify, engage, and secure Angel investors to support the growth and expansion of our platform.
Operational Excellence:** Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and alignment with our mission to disrupt the fundraising industry.
Growth Management:** Develop and execute strategies to scale the platform nationally, optimizing user experience for fundraisers and supporters alike.
Financial Oversight:** Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting, ensuring sustainable growth and resource allocation.
Team Development:** Build and lead a high-performing operations team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
Market Analysis:** Conduct ongoing analysis of market trends and competitor activities to refine our services and maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a COO or similar leadership role, ideally within the tech or fundraising sectors.
Strong track record in raising capital and engaging with investors, particularly in the Angel investment community.
Exceptional operational, financial, and project management skills.
Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams, driving performance and results.
Passion for social impact, community engagement, and a deep understanding of fundraising dynamics.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster relationships with diverse stakeholders.
Compensation:
This is a unique partnership opportunity with a commission-based and equity-focused income model for the first six months.
