Position: Restaurant Manager
Reports To: Director of Food & Beverage
Job Summary:
Manage staff during the shift operations. Ensure staff are working together as a team to ensure optimum service and that guest needs are met. Promote quality service, compliance of policies and procedures while meeting/exceeding financial goals.
Essential Job Functions:
Manage the restaurant associates during each shift.
Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and customer service.
Anticipate staff needs and provide support to both Front of House and Back of House.
Assist management with inventory, hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, disciplining, motivating and coaching employees.
Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries and unsafe work conditions. Complete safety training and certifications.
Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests’ service needs.
Maintain safe, secure, and healthy environment by establishing, following, and enforcing sanitation standards and procedures.
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support team to reach common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.
Anticipate and respond to guest needs, issues, comments and problems to ensure a quality experience.
Collaborate with marketing and event teams to promote the restaurant and drive guest engagement.
Perform other responsibilities and or duties as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications:
Education:
High school or equivalent (Required)
Experience:
Minimum of three years of front of house experience as a restaurant Supervisor or Manager.
Minimum of five years of experience in the food and beverage industry.
Skills and Abilities
Requires knowledge of restaurant operations.
Ability to communicate with guests and employees professionally and positively.
Ability to delegate tasks and establish priorities consistent with department/hotel objectives.
Experience in hiring, training, and managing a diverse team.
Serve Safe Certification, TIPS certified preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $20.00 to $24.00 per hour depending on experience.
