We are working with a leading FMCG company to recruit a Senior Trade Marketing Specialist for a maternity cover position. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in trade marketing within the FMCG industry and must be available to join immediately.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement trade marketing strategies and promotional plans across all relevant channels
Drive execution of in-store visibility, merchandising, and activation programs in collaboration with sales and brand teams
Analyze shopper insights, market data, and retail trends to support decision-making and campaign planning
Ensure alignment between brand objectives and channel execution
Monitor and report on the effectiveness of trade marketing initiatives and promotional ROI
Coordinate with external vendors and agencies for POS materials and promotional tools
Manage trade marketing budget and ensure efficient resource allocation
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
Minimum 4–6 years of trade marketing experience in the FMCG sector (this is essential)
Strong understanding of shopper marketing, category management, and retail execution
Proven ability to manage multiple projects with tight timelines
Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Proficient in MS Office; experience with data tools and Nielsen/IRI data is a plus
Must be available to start immediately
