as an SEO Content Writer at a US-based, VC-funded startup and help build the world’s largest trade school — with 300,000+ students from all around the globe! As part of our team, you’ll drive our content strategy by writing high-quality, SEO-optimized articles that enhance visibility and grow organic traffic.
You’ll collaborate closely with the content, marketing, and development teams to ensure our blog and website rank higher and meet the needs of our audience. Responsibilities will include:
Conducting thorough keyword research and competitive analysis to identify high-impact topics. Writing and optimizing on-page content such as blog posts, landing pages, and product descriptions to improve search engine performance. Collaborating with the content and marketing teams to ensure consistent brand messaging and tone. Monitoring content performance and analyzing data using tools like Google Analytics and SEMrush. Staying
up-to-date
with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and content best practices.
Ensuring all content adheres to SEO best practices, such as proper keyword placement, internal linking, and meta description writing. Editing and proofreading content for accuracy, clarity, and adherence to editorial standards. Preferred Background :
Strong understanding of SEO best practices and on-page SEO techniques. Proven experience in writing high-quality, SEO-optimized content.
Experience with
SEO tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, or similar. Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with the ability to adapt tone and style as needed. Familiarity with HTML/CSS basics and content management systems (Word Press preferred). A keen eye for detail and the ability to meet deadlines. Experience working in a startup environment is a plus.
