We’re looking for a dynamic, creative, and customer-focused individual to join our dispensary as a Budtender & Marketing Assistant. This hybrid role is perfect for someone passionate about cannabis and eager to gain hands-on experience in marketing. You’ll provide top-tier customer service as a budtender while also supporting senior management with social media, branding, and sales initiatives. Additionally, you’ll assist with product intake and compliance, requiring familiarity with METRC and OMMA regulations. Budtender & Compliance (60%)
Educate customers on cannabis products, strains, and their effects
Provide excellent customer service and create a welcoming shopping experience
Maintain store cleanliness and ensure product displays are stocked and visually appealing
Assist with product intake, ensuring compliance with OMMA regulations and METRC tracking
Verify deliveries and properly check in inventory
Stay informed on industry trends and compliance regulations
Assist with in-store promotions and events
Marketing & Creative Support (40%)
Capture content (photos/videos) for social media and marketing materials
Assist in managing social media platforms by posting, engaging, and tracking insights
Help brainstorm and execute marketing campaigns for Cheers Dispensary
Support sales initiatives by creating in-store signage, promotions, and digital assets
Collaborate with the Businesslike Marketing team on branding, content, and strategy
Who We’re Looking For:
Credentialed through OMMA and familiar with METRC tracking system
Passionate about cannabis and marketing
Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset
Basic experience with social media (Instagram, TikTok, etc.)
Creative and willing to contribute ideas for branding and promotions
Comfortable balancing retail and marketing responsibilities
Open to growing into a full-time marketing role
Compensation & Perks:
$2,000/month with room for growth and commission
