TheSocial Media and Events Managerwill be responsible for managing our social media accounts and all our brand events for Kendo Middle East.
He/she will lead social media strategy, content creation, and platform management while overseeing brand events, activations, and pop-ups. The role involves budget management, performance analysis, and ensuring seamless integration between digital and event marketing to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
Job ResponsibilitiesSocial Media Strategy & Management
Design and implement social media strategies to align with business goals
Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media
Set specific objectives and report on ROI
Manage a budget for social media activities
Maintain relationship and current information trends with social media partners such as Facebook, youtube, snapchat, tiktok and any new emerging platform
Social Media Execution
Creation of social media calendar
Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos and news)
Social & Digital Media Reporting & Analysis
Analyze competitor activity & recommend improvements
Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness
Research and evaluate the latest trends and techniques in order to find new and better ways of growing our social media presence in the region
Events Management
Plan, organize, and execute brand events, activations, and pop-ups to enhance brand visibility and engagement
Collaborate with agencies, cross-funtional teams and HQ to maximize event reach and impact
Ensure events align with brand identity and marketing objectives
Manage event budgets, timelines, and logistics, ensuring smooth execution
Ensure seamless integration of social media strategies into event activations
Track and report on event performance, including attendance, engagement, and ROI
Profile
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and equivalent experience of minimum 5-6 years in the Middle East within Beauty, or Retail industry preferred. Strong experience in setting up new social accounts and content management Strong previous experience in brand events and activations Ability to manage creative agencies to deliver creative content Fluent in English and Arabic (preferred) Ability to travel domestically and internationally. Excellent communicator & collaborator with agility to collaborate with cross functional teams, also with proven ability to motivate and inspire direct reports and influence across groups at the global, regional, and local level. Ability to collect and leverage key performance metrics and data to provide insights and make strategic business decisions. Strong Project Management skill set with managing multiple workstreams simultaneously with remarkable success; able to prioritize, lead and manage projects in a demanding environment.
