Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and creative Social Media Manager to join YMRL LCSW, supporting our mental health practice and community initiatives. The ideal candidate will develop and implement social media strategies that reflect our commitment to mental health, DEI, and social justice, enhancing our brand presence and engaging with our diverse audience. This role requires a strong understanding of digital marketing trends, coupled with the ability to create compelling, purpose-driven content across various social media platforms.

Duties

Develop and execute comprehensive social media marketing strategies that align with our mission to promote community mental health services and advocate for DEI and social justice.
Create, curate, and manage engaging content (images, videos, written posts) that resonates with our audience across all social media platforms.
Utilize scheduling tools and monitor engagement metrics to optimize content performance.
Collaborate closely with the Business Owner to design visually appealing and impactful graphics using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, and Adobe Illustrator.
Analyze social media performance metrics using Google Analytics and other reporting tools to inform future strategies.
Engage with followers, respond to comments, and manage community interactions to foster a positive online environment.
Stay abreast of the latest trends in social media and digital marketing to employ innovative approaches that align with our values.
Edit videos for promotional content and campaigns, ensuring high-quality production standards are met.

Qualifications

Proven experience in social media management or digital marketing roles, particularly within the mental health, DEI, or social justice sectors.
Proficiency in Canva or Adobe Creative Suite/ Adobe Illustrator, for graphic design tasks.
Familiarity with video editing software is a plus.
Strong understanding of social media platforms including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to create engaging content that resonates with target audiences.
Experience using analytics tools such as Google Analytics to track performance metrics effectively.
A proactive attitude towards learning new skills in digital marketing and social media trends.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract, Temporary

Pay: $20.00 – $80.00 per week

Expected hours: 1 – 4 per week
