We’re looking for a passionate and dynamic Social Media & Customer Experience Manager to join our team and help grow our brand presence while ensuring an exceptional customer experience.Position OverviewThe Social Media & Customer Experience Manager will play a critical role in shaping FORLOH’s online presence and community engagement. This role will act as FORLOH’s front line on all social media channels, and will create compelling content, engage with audiences and category influencers, and develop social strategies to increase brand awareness and loyalty. In addition, they will manage customer interactions across digital platforms, ensuring that every customer touchpoint reflects FORLOH’s commitment to excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesSocial Media Management
Develop and execute a social media strategy that aligns with FORLOH’s brand identity and business goals, informed by deep expertise in growing organic social media communities and maximizing follower engagement –– with a constant finger on the pulse of all of the latest trends and algorithmic changes in the social media landscape.
Manage daily posting, content creation, and community engagement across key platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, etc.).
Be the driver for generating best-in-class social content: You will write creative briefs for internal creative resources as well as external brand influencers to generate relevant, high-quality, social content, including photos, videos, and user-generated content.
Oversee influencer recruitment and management: this person will manage the formation and management of a stable of new influencers –– and ensure timely, high-quality delivery of content and outbound social media activity as per the arrangement with each influencer partner.
Track, analyze, and report on social media performance using analytics tools, making recommendations for continuous improvement.
Execute best-in-class social media campaigns around product launches, partnerships, and seasonal initiatives.
Customer Experience & Engagement
Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries via social media, email, and live chat.
Provide timely, professional, and brand-aligned responses to customer questions, concerns, and feedback.
Develop and implement strategies to enhance satisfaction and loyalty through the development of repeatable processes, consistently excellent service levels, and going above and beyond for our customers.
Work closely with the operations, sales and product teams to address customer feedback and improve the overall online customer experience.
Identify opportunities for proactive engagement, turning customers into brand advocates.
Maintain an organized system for tracking customer interactions, trends, and common concerns to inform business decisions.
Source relevant information from key stakeholders across the company as needed to answer product, technical, and specification-related questions.
What We’re Looking For
3-5 years of experience in social media strategy / management / execution and customer service, preferably in the outdoor, hunting, or technical apparel industry.
A deep understanding of social media platforms, trends, and analytics tools.
Strong expertise in directing resources on producing high-quality social content.
Strong writing and communication skills, with the ability to adapt tone and style to fit FORLOH’s brand voice. Within our brand category, it’s crucial that branded content is rooted in authenticity and authority.
A passion for the outdoors, hunting, or technical performance gear is a major plus.
Experience in community management and customer engagement best practices.
Ability to work independently, think creatively, and thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Familiarity with customer service platforms (we use Zendesk) and social media management tools.
Content creation skills, including photography, videography, and photo/video editing, are a huge bonus.
