** Initially this position requires onsite work in our Clive, Iowa or Cedar Falls, Iowa office on a regular/weekly basis with the expectation that it will be more flexible/hybrid over time. **

Summary:

We are looking for an enthusiastic Marketing Specialist to join our marketing team. This entry-level role is ideal for a creative individual with strong writing and content creation skills who is eager to grow in the SaaS industry with a fast paced, established marketing team. You will be responsible for crafting engaging blog posts, creating and editing content across multiple formats, assisting with video and visual content creation, and other general marketing logistical tasks.

Responsibilities:

Content Creation & Design

Content Creation & Copywriting – Assist in writing and editing blog posts, landing pages, email campaigns, and social media content that engages our audience.
Design Support – Assist with in-house design needs by creating compelling visuals for digital campaigns, social media, presentations, and event materials.
Campaign Execution – Support the execution of marketing campaigns, including email copywriting, paid media design, and product launch materials as needed.
Video & Content Repurposing – Assist in editing videos and adapting content for YouTube, LinkedIn, and other digital platforms to maximize engagement and reach.

General & Field Marketing Support

Field Marketing Support – Assist in logistical needs for industry conferences /tradeshows and virtual events, including promotional material ordering, booth shipping, etc.
PR & Communications Support – Support PR initiatives, including coordinating with partners and vendors for speaking engagements, content collaboration, etc., and work closely with Core Marketing team to support logistics of prospect and client communications as needed.
Marketing Logistical Support – Work within our CRM (HubSpot) and our CMS (Spinternet), as needed, to support email creation, landing page creation, and website updates.

Skills/Education/Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
1-2 years of marketing, communications, or related field experience. SaaS experience is a plus but not required.
Strong writing and content creation skills – you can craft compelling copy and adapt your tone to different audiences, and you’re obsessive on details.
Intermediate design skills – demonstrated experience with Canva, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools.
Excellent project and time management skills – you thrive in a fast-paced environment and can juggle multiple projects, staying organized and meeting deadlines.
General understanding of digital marketing fundamentals, including social media, email marketing, and paid advertising.
A growth mindset and a drive to learn – we’ll support your professional development!
Familiarity with content management systems (Spinternet, WordPress, etc.) is a plus.
Basic video editing experience (Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, Descript, or similar) is a plus.
Ability to travel up to 10%.
Close proximity to our Cedar Falls or Clive, IA office with the ability to work in one of the two offices on a regular basis.
