Social Media & Digital Content Manager (Contract) Jobs in Minnetonka, MN at New Perspective Senior Living
Transportation and Logistics service provider seeking Entry Writers to join the team. The ideal candidates will have knowledge of clearing goods through customs and facilitating the delivery.
Pay Range: $26-28hr DOE
Job type: Full-Time, in office
Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm
Location: Monterey Park, CA
Essential Duties:
· Prepare documents for submittal to US Customs
· Review documents to check for accuracy and compliance
· Ensure shipments meet laws and regulations to facilitate import and export of goods
· Interface with customers on delivery and irregularities
· Manage daily tracking reports for open shipments
· Track and trace shipments and coordinate with the steamship lines, freight forwarders, etc
· Arrange with trucking companies for pick-up and delivery
· Handle accounting processes including the issuance of invoices and freight bill approval.
· Maintain relationships with carriers, freight forwarders, container freight stations and trucking companies.
· Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
· 2-4 years experience as an entry writer
· Detailed oriented and able to meet deadlines
· Familiarity using CargoWise or similar software
· Proficient with MS Word and Excel
· Great attitude and a team player
· Detailed and organized
· Must pass a background check
