Position Overview:

Ubuntu Strategies is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Marketing coordinator to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in marketing research, social media trend analysis, and supporting our strategies. The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter with an interest in entrepreneurship.

Key Responsibilities:

Research and Analysis:
Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging marketing opportunities.
Compile and analyze data on consumer behavior and preferences.
Present research findings in clear and concise reports for the team.
Social Media Trends:
Monitor and identify current trends across various social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, LinkedIn).
Provide insights on trending topics, hashtags, and content that can be leveraged for client campaigns.
Track and report on the performance of social media trends.
Social Media Management:
Develop and schedule social media content calendars
Engage with online communities and respond to comments and messages promptly.
Help in creating and editing social media graphics, videos, and other multimedia content.
Support the execution of social media campaigns and initiatives.
Administrative Support:
Assist with organizing and maintaining marketing files and databases.
Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and strategy discussions.
Provide general administrative support to the marketing team as needed.

Qualifications:

Recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
Strong interest in marketing, social media, and digital trends.
Excellent research, analytical, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in social media platforms and tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Detail-oriented with a proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 – $22.00 per hour
