About Us & The Role
Block Party is a social media agency working with major comedians, musicians, media companies, and non-profits. In 2024, our clients collectively had over 1.5 billion organic video views, including 305 viral videos– each with over a million organic views on either Reels or TikTok.
This is a fully remote 3-month contract role, and we are looking to offer a full-time position assuming the contract period is successful. Responsibilities include:
Overseeing production of client content for key public figure and brand accounts, working within a pod that includes a video editor and graphic designer.
Managing day-to-day client comms.
Managing workflow in Monday and overseeing client-facing content calendars.
Writing caption copy.
Leading client strategy and account growth, and creating monthly data reporting.
Qualities needed for the role:
highly organized, independent, and assertive
comfortable interfacing with public figures
deep knowledge of social media, comedy, music, and pop-culture
appreciative of non-traditional thinking
ability to juggle multiple projects in fast-paced environment
preference for working remotely
availability to work some evenings and weekends when needed
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Project Management or related degree
1-3 years of professional experience at a social media agency
Detailed knowledge of all product features and assets specs for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X, and YouTube
Experience using social publishing, scheduling, and analytics tools
Strong communicator and strategic thinker
