Role Overview
As the Chief Marketing and Business Development Officer (CMBDO) at DigiDaaS, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s market presence, driving brand visibility, and forging strategic partnerships. This leadership position requires a dynamic professional with a blend of marketing expertise, business acumen, and deep industry relationships. As a partner in the DigiDaaS organization, your success will directly impact company growth and profitability.
This role requires significant on-the-ground networking within the Greater San Francisco Bay Area, leveraging in-person engagement to build strategic relationships, secure business opportunities, and represent DigiDaaS in key industry events.
Primary Responsibilities1. Brand Development & MarketingOptimizing Brand Story and Messaging
Ensure clear, compelling, and consistent brand messaging across all channels.
Refine brand positioning to align with market trends and business growth goals.
Brand Perception Management
Monitor and influence brand perception through PR, social media, and industry engagement.
Handle crisis communication and brand reputation strategies.
Marketing Strategies & Execution
Develop and execute marketing plans to drive visibility and inbound interest.
Oversee the development of marketing assets, campaigns, and promotional materials.
Align marketing strategies with business growth objectives.
Optimize conversion funnels for lead generation and client acquisition.
Targeted Digital Campaigns
Implement and manage paid ad strategies (SEO, PPC, LinkedIn, etc.).
Leverage data and analytics to optimize campaign performance.
Networking & Event Participation
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities within the San Francisco Bay Area.
Build relationships with influencers, thought leaders, and potential clients.
Content Marketing & Thought Leadership
Develop and oversee the company-wide content strategy (blogs, whitepapers, case studies, social media).
Establish the company and key team members as thought leaders in AI, emerging tech, and software.
Build personal thought leadership through speaking engagements, articles, and interviews.
2. Strategic Partnerships and AlliancesTechnical Institution and University Partnerships
Establish relationships with universities and research institutions for talent pipelines, R&D collaboration, and innovation initiatives.
VC and Accelerator Partnerships
Foster connections with venture capital firms and accelerators to position the company for funding and high-growth opportunities.
Complementary Business Partnerships
Identify and establish strategic partnerships with businesses that complement DigiDaaS’s offerings.
Recruitment Firm Partnerships
Work with top-tier recruitment firms to attract high-caliber talent.
3. Product Vision, Customer, and Market InsightsFrame, Position, and Define Product Offerings
Engage with industry analysts, corporate and venture capital partners, engaged communities (including conferences and summits), and startups to refine and position emerging product ideas.
Gather and incorporate market/competitive insights into the product strategy and roadmap.
Collaborate with internal teams to define capabilities, ensure product quality, and enhance product collateral.

Leverage customer experience, market expertise, and active listening to integrate customer insights into:
